The Ideal Music System

What would the ideal music system be? In a perfect world, it would be a device or collection of devices that allowed us to transcend time and space to be in the presence of our favourite musicians performing our most cherished music. In our own imperfect world, this ideal is still well out on the horizon and, for the team being, we have to be satisfied with the reproduction of the electronic and mechanical documentation of these performances in the form of audio recordings. So, without losing sight of the ultimate goal and, to that end, continuing to work on methods of warping the fabric of time and space, TEO also devotes considerable thought, time and energy to improving existing, imperfect playback technology.

Our fundamental approach is simple: the recording is paramount and sacrosanct. We can't change any of the circumstances of the recording. We can strive to ensure that the reproduction of the recording is as faithful as possible.
